CNF Partners with Unite Us to Connect Families with Critical Resources

CNF partners are invited to participate in the pilot program – to learn more about the Neurology Social Services Network, watch our video

LEXINGTON, KY – March 31, 2022 – The Child Neurology Foundation (CNF) announced today it’s collaborating with Unite Us, the nation’s leading technology company connecting health and social care services, to launch a new program that connects families in the Child Neurology Foundation’s network to vital resources.

Intended to fill a gap reported by families in the Child Neurology Foundation’s network, this partnership is a coordinated effort to build bridges between patients and family support organizations. The goal is for families to easily be connected with other Unite Us partners who can provide peer support and other unmet needs such as food, clothing, and transportation assistance.

“We’ve heard directly from families in our network that they need a comprehensive platform that can help them sort through and connect with the resources that might be available to them,” said CNF Executive Director and CEO, Amy Brin. “After learning how Unite Us has been providing health and community-based organizations across the country with solutions that improve access to critical care, we are thrilled to have them as a partner in creating this new resource for our network.”

The Unite Us Platform will allow partners within the network to:

  • Refer and connect families to local service organizations
  • Improve the health and well-being of families through strengthened collaboration with partners across a range of services
  • Track the outcomes of referrals and services
  • Measure the impact of organizational initiatives
  • Improve organizational capacity through accurate referrals and access to data on local service delivery.

“Unite Us is excited to support the innovative work happening through CNF and its partner organizations, as they work to coordinate services for their constituents and track outcomes together. This collaborative effort is a perfect example of how the Unite Us network can be leveraged nationwide to connect families to the services they need,” said Adrienne Sherk, Senior Director, Community-based Organization Partnerships, Unite Us.

Child Neurology Foundation member organizations can apply now to participate in the pilot project. Once organizations are approved, they can expect four to five weeks for onboarding. Community-based, nonprofit organizations nationwide who want to participate and share their resources with CNF, can join Unite Us at no cost.
