Two new enrollment partners added

EGI continues building upon the promise to tirelessly search for new ways of understanding the genetics of epilepsy. Bridging the gap between patients, doctors and researchers with a centralized database to house genetic data, the hope is to discover previously unknown causes of a person’s epilepsy by studying their genetic code. Goal: Increase enrollment in 2016

Genetic studies are leading to an increase in understanding precision medicine in epilepsy. Our partners help us educate patients about why genetic testing is one of the keys for doctors to be able to tailor treatment options for unique, individual cases. The addition of new enrollment sites will help spread the word and make participating in genetic testing easier for everyone. As more and more patients sign up for EGI, the closer we all are to finding a cure.
