More than 90,000 copies of the CNF’s first Respite Care Workbook have been distributed to Child Neurologists and Child Neurology Nurses—as well as advocacy and patient care groups throughout the country.

“About Our Family.” is designed to be given to families by their Child Neurologist as a tool to create dialogue about the importance of respite care for families. When completed, the workbook is a collection of detailed information about the child with special needs. Information such as how the child communicates, as well as a daily schedule, are then available to the caregiver in an organized format.
