The Child Neurology Foundation
announces the award of a research grant in the field of child
neurology to be made at the annual Child Neurology Society
meeting in Santa Clara, California in the fall of 2008. The
selected investigator will receive a two-year grant of $50,000
per-year.
Guidelines: Prepare a succinct, one-page
letter of intent for this two-year award. Include: (1) the
hypothesis to be tested, (2) a brief description of the experimental
approach, and (3) the relevance to furthering the field of
child neurology.
Deadline: Letters must be received in the
CNF office no later than February 23, 2008.
No exceptions will be made.

Applicants must be child neurologists who have completed training
in an ACGME-approved program, no more than seven years prior
to application and be a legal resident of the United States
or Canada. Applicants with current or approved pending NIH
funding will be excluded.

will be notified by April 6, 2008, of the decision of the
CNF Scientific Committee to invite them to complete the full
application form which will be due June 8, 2008. Applications
must follow the NIH format, but are limited to 10 pages of
text.
