Getting to Know the CNF Team – Katherine Barnhart

Meet Katherine Barnhart.

What’s your role at CNF?
Executive Assistant to Amy Brin, Executive Director/CEO of CNF

How do you spend your time when you’re not at work?
I spend my free time with my 9 1/2 moth old son, Evan. I try to keep us active. So you will normally find us outside at a park enjoying the day.

What is your power color and why?
I would have to say I’m between Yellow and Red. I’m a very calm/ warm person that can normally neutralize a situation. But I am also high energy and live to heighten the energy in the room.

If you could have one super power, what would it be?
Help the sick or take on others obstacles that they feel hold them back from achieving their full potential.

What do you love about your work with CNF?
My role is administrative. So I see the behind the scenes work that it takes to ensure we are putting our energy into the children and their families. Being able to help be the bridge between providers , advocacy groups, and families is rewarding beyond words.

Which CNF Value do you identify with the most?
Collaboration – We are humble servants that know the care for these children cannot be done alone. We strive to continuously work with providers, advocacy groups, and the families of the children affected with neurological differences.

How did life lead you to join CNF?
Life has always shown me that I was here to help others. The frontline role was not for me; but the servant/behind the scenes role is where I was meant to be. An angel here on earth to help those in need.
