DETAILS: PAME is a meeting of parents and adults with epilepsy, advocates, researchers and doctors to advance dialogue and find solutions for SUDEP and other epilepsy-related causes of death. This multi-day learning event to designed to feature a uniting of the epilepsy community. It is the only meeting focused exclusively on increasing understanding of mortality in epilepsy, including Sudden Unexpected Death In Epilepsy (SUDEP). This program brings together adult patients, parents, advocates and clinical and basic science professionals to advance research, facilitate collaborations, engage patients to participate in critical research, and increase urgency around an overlooked and underfunded public health issue, SUDEP.

Thursday June 23rd will feature advocacy visits on Capitol Hill during the day and a welcome reception in the evening. The conference sessions will take place Friday June 24 – Sunday June 26th. This third edition of the PAME meeting is designed to build understanding and support for all parties in the epilepsy community. All are welcome and all are important to this meeting!

REGISTRATION: Open now at this webpage. The cost for individuals and lay advocates to attend is $175, and that covers all three days. For medical professionals, the cost is $200 during early bird (until May 16th), and $275 afterward.
