Quincy

Quincy is one of the children who received a $1,000 Rise Family Grant from CNF. Here is a message from his family.

“Quincy had a massive stroke two days prior to birth, which claimed 60% of his brain mass. Specialist believed he only had a limited time to live and that he could not hear, see and would not have a quality of life. Through lots of therapies and hard work, he is a poster child for neuroplasticity – Quincy is an active little boy who loves to tell you about his favorite things, ride his Jeep, and play with his dog.

He’s pictured here with his rescue puppy that we are having trained as a service dog.

Due to the craziness of Covid-19, we recognized the need to create a fun, accessible classroom for virtually homeschooling Quincy. We intend to use the grant money for that as well as continuing the therapy dog training of Willa.” – Jessica
